Wondering what I've been up to lately? Me too! It seems that I have been spending WAY TOO MUCH TIME on my computer. The reason is simple albeit a little odd. I am TOTALLY and COMPLETELY addicted to FACEBOOK!
I'll admit that at first I had no interest in joining. I couldn't imagine what I would do with a facebook account. A friend sent me an invitation a few weeks ago and I accepted. It's been downhill ever since -- kidding!
I absolutely LOVE that I can keep in touch with friends around the country. We all live such hectic lives and this is a great way to know what everyone is up to. I've also reconnected with some old friends through facebook which has been wonderful. As a "crafty" sort of gal, you must know that I love being able to personalize my profile page. I've added fun bumper stickers and flair to show off my personality. Plus facebook lets you send and receive virtual gifts from friends which always makes me smile!
Still, none of this seems reason enough to become an ADDICT. Okay . . . here is my confession . . . I AM A GAMING JUNKIE! I LOVE playing games. Video games, board games, etc . . . you name the game and I'm "in it to win!" Facebook has several FANTASTIC word games and, as I discovered quickly, several of my friends love playing them as much as me. It is quite a thrill to go head to head with friends in other states. I am currently hooked on PATHWORDS, SCRAMBLE AND WORD TWIST. I don't just play them once a day -- I keep getting challenged and, well, I can NEVER turn down a challenge in a game!
When I'm not playing word games (I must admit the brain can get a bit fried after playing those a while) I move my attention to my other Facebook OBSESSION:
Mob Wars is mindless fun. I am on a quest to take over the city. I've already built up a MOB with 8 members so if think you're tough enough I'll send you an invite to join my mob. (okay, you don't have to really be tough -- you just need to create a funny screen name!)
If you haven't joined facebook yet and I haven't scared you too much, you should definitely open an account and look me up! You'll LOVE IT!
